National School Lunch Week was created in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy to highlight the importance of healthy school lunches. This year, the official theme is Cafeteria Circus: Where Nutrition Takes Center Stage -- which makes our lunchrooms the Greatest Show on Earth! #BusyBeingTheBest #BusyBeesEatHealthy

September Breakfast and Lunch Menu
Parents, we have some exciting news for Grandparents’ Day!
We have secured a food truck to provide the meals for our event! Instead of the previously planned sandwich option, all meal options will be provided by our food truck vendor.
Already paid for a meal ticket?
No worries! On the day of the event, you will be able to choose from any of the $10 menu options. If you would like to select an item that costs more than $10, you will simply have the option to pay the difference.
Opted out of the meal ticket?
You still have the option to bring your own lunch and enjoy the day with your grandbaby!
If you have any questions or need clarification about the meal options, please contact the school. We are happy to help!
Thank you so much for your continued support of Orchard Elementary School! 💙💛 We can’t wait to see all of our grandparents and families soon!

We are excited to introduce a new face to our kindergarten team, Ms. Tramaine Price!
I am thrilled to join Orchard Elementary as a Kindergarten Teacher. I have experience working with young learners as a Teacher Assistant and am passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom where every child feels supported and encouraged to grow. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Alabama State University and bring a strong background in communication, organization, and leadership. As a proud mother of two, I understand the importance of building strong partnerships with families to support student success. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and photography. I am excited to be part of the Orchard Elementary family and look forward to a wonderful school year!
